Brian Boekhout

National Director of Wellness

Brian Boekhout has been with Aegis Therapies since April 2008 and his impact on Aegis’ clinical operations has been far-reaching. In 1994, Brian began his career in Missouri as a physical therapist. Throughout the years, he gained experience as a Clinical Program Manager, Regional Director of Operations and Vice President of Operations before joining Aegis Therapies as a Regional Director of Clinical Services.

In his current role, Brian is responsible for helping his region improve the overall clinical quality of patients’ care. He also trains Aegis staff in order to support clinical initiatives.

Brian is passionate about helping develop and implement new clinical programs and products having to do with wellness and wound care, among others. He is also passionate about teaching, and for over a decade, he has taught therapy-related seminars to students in his free time. What does Brian say is the key to providing excellent service? "First and foremost, care and compassion," he explains. "And as a close second, one must have a passion for their field. An organization must also put a priority on clinical operations as it is the base of all we do."
