Continuing Education

Aegis Therapies offers many continuing education opportunities through both instructor-led courses and online courses. Courses are available for therapists of all disciplines. Both clinical and technical classes are offered with subjects ranging from proprietary clinical programs to billing and documentation to information on Rehabilitation Outcome Measures.

Aegis is an approved provider of continuing education by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). Many courses and seminars we provide are approved for CEU credit by AOTA and ASHA.
 

Training technology

Our on-line courses are delivered through a web-based technology that allows interactive online training complete with video, interactive activities and links to relevant resource documents. Clinical orientation for all new associates is accomplished using this technology.  We are continually expanding our e-learning library of courses and our therapists rate this technology very positively, with more than 90 percent indicating they would like more learning opportunities through e-learning.

Independent learning

We also support therapists seeking learning opportunities outside of Aegis, as long as the subject matter relates to the therapist's practice setting and the strategic goals for the district.
