Juan, a registered occupational therapist based in Texas, has demonstrated exceptional passion for advancing high-intensit

y rehabilitation through i-STRONGER, a program developed in collaboration between Aegis Therapies and the University of Colorado. Designed to elevate therapy outcomes through evidence-based, high-intensity approaches, i-STRONGER is transforming how care is delivered across settings.

When Juan was introduced to the program, he took a lead role working closely with his peers to implement high-intensity principles. His efforts helped improve resident outcomes and elevate the standard of care within his community.

Beyond implementation, Juan has also played a key role in education and knowledge-sharing. He contributed to the development of a two-hour continuing education course, offering guidance on how to effectively train future clinicians in i-STRONGER principles. His impact extended even further when he co-presented the course at the Aegis Therapies Texas Symposium in September 2025, helping to bring this innovative approach to a broader audience.

Juan’s dedication to clinical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning makes him an invaluable resource for fellow clinicians across Aegis Therapies.
