Lucy Nelson, Director of Rehabilitation, has been with Aegis Therapies for 10 years and has over 16 years of experience working with older adults as a speech-language pathologist. Lucy is a member of the National DOR Leadership Council with Aegis Therapies and has served in a workgroup for telehealth and PT Compact. From this workgroup, Lucy hired the first ever remote-only PT for Aegis Therapies and assisted with creating a position for Telehealth DOR. In addition to the workgroup, Lucy has also provided telehealth services in rural areas of KY.
Janice Brown, PT, RAC-CT, a Clinical Practice Specialist for Aegis Therapies, has been in telehealth for two years. During this time, she has contributed to developing effective telehealth processes and provided training on best practices. Additionally, she provides leadership around PT Compact to support the company.
Stephanie Schild, OTD, MS OTR/L, CLT RAC-CT, a Clinical Practice Specialist at Aegis Therapies, has been involved in telehealth since its inception during the pandemic. She has developed successful and practical strategies to provide meaningful clinical experiences for her clients. Stephanie also supports clinicians new to telehealth services, ensuring a successful experience for both the clinician and client.
Barbara A. White, MPT, received her master’s degree from Gannon University in 2001 and has been part of Aegis Therapies since 2007. Currently, she holds the position of Director of Rehab Telehealth. Though her work mainly focuses on geriatrics, she also offers outpatient and specialized pediatric care.
