Aegis’ very own National Directors of Clinical Services, Angela Edney and Susie Almon-Matangos, will be presenting today’s new webinar hosted by Harmony Healthcare International. During this presentation, participants will learn how therapists and other members of the team can work together to develop programs that will enhance patients’ active participation in activities of daily living, meaningful leisure activities and continence management while reducing falls, behavioral issues and antipsychotic medication use.
The presenters will also discuss legislative updates related to cognition and a structured approach for communication with facility staff and family members using the Allen Cognitive Disability Model, the use of failure-free programming for intervention and a collaborative functional maintenance program protocol.
