Patricia Wike, PT, CCM, is the Vice President of Integrated Care at Aegis Therapies. She has been with the company since 2014 and has over 25 years of experience as a physical therapist, with most of her career focused on caring for and advocating for the needs of older adults. Ms. Wike is a certified case manager who works directly with Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) and senior living communities. Her primary focus is on transitional and integrated care to improve clinical outcomes, reduce rehospitalization, and enhance the resident experience. Throughout her career, Ms. Wike has provided leadership at all levels of care within the post-acute continuum. She has also served as a trainer and presenter on a national and international level. Jenny Mae Blankenberger, M.S., CCC-SLP, graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in 2009 and a Master of Science in 2011 in Communication Disorders and Sciences. Jenny has experience across all age groups in early intervention, outpatient, acute care and skilled nursing facilities. She has special interests and training in voice, dysphagia, executive function and management of neurologic conditions. Jenny takes pride in assisting individuals and caregivers in finding purpose and independence throughout their rehabilitation process and is dedicated to ensuring the use of individualized and functional assessments and interventions for each patient. She holds certifications including Ampcare ESP, Parkinson Voice Project SPEAK OUT!, PhoRTE and is specialty trained in pediatric feeding/swallowing skills from the Feed The Peds program. Jenny joined Aegis Therapies in January 2024 as a full-time outpatient speech and language pathologist in southern Illinois. In her free time, Jenny enjoys guest lecturing at her alma mater, traveling, running and singing. As a fun fact, Jenny and her husband eloped on a mountaintop in northern Norway in 2023, where it was -10 degrees and saw the northern lights! Kimberly Collins, MHS OTR/L, graduated from the Medical College of Georgia, now Augusta University in Augusta, GA, where she earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Health Science in Occupational Therapy. Since 2004, Kimberly has provided skilled therapy services to the adult/geriatric population in various settings. Since joining Aegis Therapies in 2012, Kimberly has worked as a clinical therapist, Director of Rehabilitation, and Senior Area Manager, overseeing multi-site clinical and operational management across multiple states. Kimberly also teaches Intro to Geriatrics for the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Chattahoochee Technical College in metro Atlanta as an adjunct professor and co-authored the Public Policy chapter of Occupational Therapy with Elders: Strategies for the COTA 5th edition textbook, demonstrating her knowledge and passion for geriatrics.
